Over the past six years, I have delivered financial literacy presentations throughout the Tuscaloosa community, including high schools, colleges, and local businesses. The presentation covers key topics such as budgeting—tracking income and expenses to avoid overspending—and saving, with an emphasis on building an emergency fund to handle unexpected costs. It also addresses credit and debt management, including how credit scores work, how to establish and build credit, the risks of high-interest debt, and strategies for responsible borrowing. Additionally, the presentation introduces the importance of preparing for retirement early in one’s career.
Financial literacy is a true passion of mine, and I strongly believe that regardless of career path, this knowledge is essential for long-term success.
